Greetings and welcome to my blog.
No I did not make  anything for today but rather decided to share some of my favorites as Smeared Ink is closing their doors.Helen was the first one I met at Smeared Ink and I was on the computer for the first time in my life.
What gracious kind loving people I have met under the label of Smeared Ink and such exceptional friendships have been made.
you all held my hand as my Mother faded through the years.My life became so chaos as she became more ill Smeared Ink was my sanity point.with loving friends at hand.
I watched everyone grow in their art and in their lives.
This year has been a transforming year for me and I wish Tori and Terra all the best in their real life transformations. I pray for everyone health and happiness and I thank you for the friendships along the way.

Canvas Corp Brands and Stampers Anonymous January 2016 Stampers Anonymous Swap and Tutorial

Hi and welcome to my blog today.I have a new swap I wanted to share with you.It is with  Stampers Anonymous. I also mixed the creations with Canvas Corp Brands wonderful papers,stamp and Tattered Angels.

I took the standard manila tag and glued some tissue paper from Canvas Corp Brand to the bottom half.

I cut a small piece from The Canvas Corp Brands stock paper ..gluing to the top of the tag.
Using a standard hole punch I punched the center whole at the top of the tag.

 I used a Canvas Corp Brand Tangled paper cutting two squares and using score tape attaching to the center of the tag.

Make sure the "zen tangle shows at the bottom leaving the blank square on the top

I used a Stampers Anonymous stamp for the center piece.This is a ACT stamps and from the Tim Holtz Collection.

I used the beautiful Tattered Angels kit "Kisses"

 I used Fire BB and Vintage Pink GM

I lined the border with High impact paint by Tattered Angels (black).

I attached the atc with score tape.

The next image I worked with is from Stampers Anonymous Wendy Vecchi Collection .
I colored the face in with Prisma pencils...and the red is the Tattered Angels Fire BB

I made a small square with the manila folders and added " I was here stamp" from Canvas Corp Brands. 
I colored it in using the Tattered Angels Fire. The Heart behind this square is from Canvas Corp Brand dabbed in the Red fire BB and the border lined in the High impact Black.

Day 11 of the Twelve Days of Creepmas Bloghop with Smeared Ink using Canvas Corp Brands

I have a new student I am going to be working with in January. She has a special need child and I am so excited. I was thinking about her unique ability to draw and her style is turning everything into a comic book look. She fears nothing and I am so excited to work with her.
I have also started the creative team with Canvas Corp Brands  and many of the elements on my tag came from that company. I think many of you would love their products.

I began with a regular cut manila tag and used their tissue paper and used their Tattered angels 

This is two of the colors that come in this kit from Canvas Corp Brands.

The kit is called Kisses
 I also lined the borders with the awesome paint from Tattered Angels "High Impact Paint" Black.

I used Smeared Inks red rubber little Joker set I am not sure the name of it so sorry I also used Smeared Inks skull wreath for the act. The little presents are also red rubber from Smeared Ink.most everything was colored in Prisma pencils the act was colored in pencil  but the back ground again is the Tattered angel red mist painted on with a liner brush.
Vintage pink was sprayed on the manila color left uncolored by pencils..or sprayed by the red.

Good morning and welcome to Day 10 of Smeared Inks Blog Hop.
I cut my finger open yesterday on a cat food lid so this post is short,,hard to type. This image is from the Smeared Ink store and it is one of my favorites. Yesterday I had to follow my imagination to see What if I glittered her?Have a wonderful weekend. Happy Creepmas Day 10.

Ike's World Art A New Challenge "Santa's coming"

Welcome to my blog! It is time for Santa at Ike's World art
and we want to see your "Santa's Coming" art! 
I can remember coloring Santa Claus on cold wintery nights right about Christmas. My mom would make toast and hot chocolate and my sister and I would sit and color at the kitchen table. What magical times!

Day 8 with Smeared Ink's 12 Days of Creepmas

Good morning to all of you. It is a cold morning here in West Texas.We had high winds yesterday and I heard our flag pole clanging this am so sounds like another day of west Texas winds.Perfect cold darkness for the bats to fly.This little bat has snagged himself a Creepmas wreath and headed to his cave to decorate.

Canvas Corp 4x4 Canvas project "A Monthly Inspiration"

Welcome to my blog ...as I welcome a new and wonderful adventure in my life with a fabulous Company called Canvas Corp Brands.

There products are beautiful
I am still very new and reading many wonderful post by fabulous high energy talented people.
About my first  project...."A Monthly Inspiration"

I love the ending  of December . My mind races to all the wonderful inspirations for the on coming year.When I began looking at Canvas Corp Brands the products and gallery was such a wonderful experience..and selecting my projects was hard I wanted to make them all.

 I selected  the wonderful tangles paper stock and pre-cut sentiments by Tattered Angels and Canvas Corp Brands

I have made a 4x4 canvas for January. I chose to use  the Tangled papers and tattered Angels Paints and sprays.
along with  the beautiful products from 7 gypsies

I have selected Tattered Angels Calendar Mist Kit "Kisses"
and To accent the border and create a frame I selected Tattered Angels  High Impact Paint

 

The 4x4 canvas's came packaged so beautifully.

I painted the borders with The Tattered Angels High Impact Paint (Black)

I had also ordered a kit called scrap packs 
I began placing them on the canvas.
My theme "A Monthly Inspiration" required the monthly stamps of course. This set is called 12 months.
I stamped January on a scrap from the "scrap Pack"

This is the beautiful canvas I clipped a corner off of for this 4x4 canvas.
It was in the "scrap pack" 
I also selected tags and Ties "hearts"

I lined the heart with the High Impact Paint

The twine came with the tags and I used it to attach the 7 gypsies large heart charms and 7 gypsies ket-set-black.If you look closly you will see a splash of Tattered Angel "Vintage Pink" spray on the heart.This was in the "kisses" set.
After setting the heart on the canvas Now comes the sentiment which as earlier I mentioned "Tattered  Angels Tangled Pack"

The sentiment piece I selected for January is "Courage is being afraid but doing it anyway"
As you can see I colored with Tattered Angels "Fire BB"
and attached to my canvas.

There were some sweet treats in the"scrap pack" one I paced by the month and the other I attached to the heart.
